Web Easy pro 9

Pros:

Looks nice and 'cool'. The modular system is a complete beakaway from version 'platinum 8'

However, the whole software is easy to understand but only up to a point.

Cons:

1.... The platinum version was near perfect, and now they have spoilt what otherwise was a superb package.

2...My advise is go for version 8 'platinum' This new version is 'pants'! at first sight it looks easy but its definitely NOT. everything is set out differently and the modus operandi takes more clicks do do anything.

3...Almost impossibly difficult to work out how to link pages if you you want to make a site without using a template. There seems to be no way to close down a site or to delete an experimental site that you have been working on. I found that other pages from other sites that i was working on were getting mixed up with the site i WAS working on when it came to test in 'build site'.

4...This new version is not at all as good as version 8 platinum.

Another Great Update

Pros:

Works perfect with a smart OS..... Windows 7 is absolutely fabulous with this update. I could not believe the headaches and heartaches at the beginning. All kinds of glitches that I never had with the previous versions (I have all the 3 previous versions) Until I installed on my windows 7 system. Then it came alive. This version is far more superior than all the prior versions. Great product from Avanquest...

Cons:

Dose not work well with Vista (32bits). At least not for me.

once I created a website (55 pages) and used avanquest to publish it for me..

I immediately had enourmous problems, first and foremost A. I received O I repeat 0 customer support except redirections to crap ex. ask a question. or phone numbers (3 differant ones incl. 1 out of service and one redirect to a pay-adult talk site) They never respond to my help tickets or request. there is no live talk help or even online tech help to respong to me. B. My website first showed up as one of the templates they provide not MY WEBSITE I made painstakingly. C. I republish next day and my website shows 2 pages without titweeks on this site)les or pictures or sound but the kicker is where was the entire content of my website? was 55 pages. My entire created site is saved carefully on the software I purchased as well as in my documents, the avanquest software is absolutly plaqued with terrible gliches and Is not as they advertise quote "create a website in 1 hour." It wont transfer or launch what is saved to the avanquest server or the programing is wrong. I dont want my money back ( I worked 3 weeks on this project) I want my website published in the internet like they said they will do. I was charged for a domain-naturally! and 3 months free hosting-naturally! ultimatly I have no website and nobody to help get it straight. I only see a sale of malware to customers who put their trust in this product. The customer is always #1

No gain without a lot of PAIN

Cons:

Very Quriky Code. For instance: Add an image to your image folder, build your page using it, build the website with run now option. Most of the time your new image will show up but when you go back to the ALB file it won't be there and neither will it be in your images folder. I have been thru this many times.

Working on several websites?? You'd better be very careful which site it opens. It is inconsistent to say the very least.

Try to get real time help?? Not unless you have about an hour to wait for someone to chat with.
