SS12 pro netdefense stops working

Ok after installing SS12 pro everything inside of it work fine until I update malware  definitions and do the patches to the program. Then netdefense stops working and will not restart no matter how long i wait after the error msg.Now the interesting part is after several clicks to try and restart netdefense I loose all of my programs icons on desktop and when I click the start button there is nothing listed as installed. Also If I click on my hard drives letters c,d,e,f there is nothing in there at all.Cant even see how large a hard drive it is or any other info about the hard drives/partitions.If I boot to safe mode all of the info is there, desktop icons hard drives etc.Only thing that will fix this is choosing a restore point before the installation of SS12 pro.Ive done this 3 times now same results and I'm not sure I want to do it again. What can/is being done done to fix this.Have that 41% complete error also in security area.Been using SS since I think version 4 or 5 and this may very well be my last version.Hopefully there is or will be a fix for this.Edit.. forgot to add I'm running win7 64 bit.

Hello Paul,

It sounds to me like the program is getting corrupted when you apply the update. If you would please submit a support request I will get you a down load for the fully updated version. You will see the Support tab near the top of this web page.

Got the download thank you.Installed, all went fine till I tried to update the malware definitions then blue screen of death 3 times. Before it even dnloaded anything. On a positive note the firewall works and hasn't wiped out anything. It's a step in the right direction at least.....Will be trying the other features within SS12 to see if they create any problems.Sure seems like I'm a beta tester hehehe.

Hello Paul,

I would reinstall System Suite, this time do a custom install, and elect to not install the virus portion of the program. See if you still get the crash.

Already done that twice.Same results...Went in and removed any/all leftover entries in the registry for  Comodo Suite and System Suite.Reinstalled SS12 without virus portion and tada no joy acts the same.Crashes, BSOD, memory dumps etc etc..Uninstall SS12 for the umpteen time and all is good...Pc  runs smooth as silk. Looks like I'm out of luck running SS12 and out of  $50.00.
