software removal

I tried removing power desk pro using Windows remove software tool. It SAID the software was removed, but the Avanquest directory (with Power Desk Pro in that directory) is still on the hard drive AND it is placing a "hook" is the System processes. So when I try to download other program updates from Adobe I can't unless I disable the hook.

How do I TOTALLY and PERMANENTLY REMOVE ALL TRACES of Power Desk Pro from my system?

Mike Stelmach says:

Hello Carl,

We have a removal tool for Power Desk. You can find it at the link below

www.avanquestusa.com/support/tech_support/PowerDesk%20Cleanup%20Tool.exe

Save the file to an easily accessible location, such as your Desktop.
After the file completes downloading, double-click on the file to run the tool.
