ResolvedInstall Patches

I had a problem installing the last patch and had to reinstall. My version now is 8.1.1.31 and when I go to liveupdate it says that I'm up to date which I know is not true. Is there any other way of downloading the two patches without using liveupdate?

You are not alone. I originally downloaded version 8.2.1.9 (the most current version when buying and doing the download) and when Live Update would run it said there was a update from 8.000 (YES version 8) to 8.0.0.1. Which was actually a older version of the program.

I suggest you return PD8 for a refund and find another file manager that actually works and doesn't have a plethora of bugs in it.

I just installed the patch and the install was successful. Now I have 8.2.1.9 installed. I understand there is still another patch that installs 8.3.1.9. If I download the full install of 8.3.1.9, do I need to uninstall PowerDesk or can I just go ahead and install on top of 8.2.1.9?

I downloaded the full install of version 8.3.1.9 and installed it on top of version 8.2.1.9. It proceeded to uninstall the previous version and installed version 8.3.1.9. It required a reboot at the end of the install. I am now checking out the program but so far everything looks OK.
