MXTask2.exe consuming too much system resources

I am using Fix-it version 11 and I have noticed that the process MXTask2.exe is consuming a large amount of my CPU and memory resources.  I believe this process is launched by Fix-it.  Can you tell me if there are any settings I can make to reduce he load this is putting on my system.  Note: I have a Toshibe Satellite P205D laptop computer with 2GB memory.

Hello Peter,

You can go to the settings from the main menu in Fix it, under Active Intelligence look for Mode, set it to Monitor and see if it frees up any CPU.

Hello Paul,

Please try these steps, go to the anti virus tab then select settings under active protection un check the box for check when files or opened or copied. See if this will free up the CPU
