can i safely end process SBAMsvc

SBAMsvc is causing 100% cpu usage . is this due to a conflict with fix it? if so can and how do i disable this?

This file runs the virus tools in Fix it. The only way to disable it is ti turn off the virus tools. It sounds to me like there is a conflict; I would first try disabling as many start up items as possible to correct the issue. You can do so via the Start Up Commander tool in Fix it

why can't I open older cards processed 2007 with upgrade 2012?

I upgraded to 2012 from 2007 now i can't open projects created in 2007, If I was told i wouldn't be able to open exisiting projects i would never have upgraded
