As far as I can see there is no trial version (anymore). I have used a trial version a while back but it only scanned and detected the problems on my PC. I believe this scanner is still available on the DAS webpage.

The software itself seemed to detect more of the problems with my computer than others I tested. I did a project about it so I tested it extensively.

In my opinion it's a good security software but there exist better programs on the market (and some of them are free).

Another thing I forgot to mention: the DAS 100% Protection Guarantee. What this says is:

"We are so confident that Double Anti-Spy will be the only software you need to guard against spyware that we make this unconditional guarantee:

If Double Anti-Spy fails to stop even one piece of spyware at any time over the next year, we will refund 100% of your purchase price. No questions asked." (you can find the text on the DAS website - there is no clear explanation of how this works, nonetheless)

So I guess this could be thought of as a 1-year trial.

I would like to test DAS on my PC.. I will wait ´till we have it officialy in Germany.

I am currently using Norton 360 and free software Spybot & Destroy.. I think I am very well protected. I would like to see if DAS finds some Spyware on the PC which was not found by the two mentioned products.
