Few months ago, the official 2010 Olympic winter games iphone app has been a real success.
Now which app will be the best for 2010 Soccer World Cup ?
I tried Mubaloo's South Africa, which seems to be clear and simple to use, but maybe you found a better one ?

The Germans are brutal, same with the Italians. I'd vote for the app that features more dramatic soccer player tumbles.

Well, The Sun want £2.39 of my money for their World Cup app. Pfffffft ... no chance!
If you're looking for dramatic football tumbles Richard, try anything from the Italians :)

After taking a while to compare some WorldCup apps, I decided to get an app called "SouthAfrica-Fan.com" which seems to be complete and it has YouTube videos and push notifications. I really recommend it. :)

Avanquest will be releasing a Soccer/Football Sudoku app very soon... For the iPhone and the iPad (and Android as well!)... Watch out the Appstore on Friday for the iPhone version!!!!!
It's a great Sudoku game where you can choose amongst the 32 officially qualified teams, play against the clock and challenge user around the world in a daily contest.

@Sophie, please embed a YouTube video with dramatic soccer tumbles. @Tim tells me you can find it if you look for the Italians, personally I recommend Argentina.
