I heard a BestBuy employee made this and they are currently bringing litigation against him for not taking the video down.  I'm sorry I must have missed the part where he bad mouthed BestBuy...

The word "addict" is the right one ;)

@Blaise: I'm afraid that it is not ONLY satirical... my feeling is that it's real for most of iPhone owners.

I've made my own survey to ask people what are the features they get on their iPhone (including iPhone4 owners) that other smartphones don't offer... answers... ok, almost all of them (except 2) were very good candidate to replace the iPhone4 addict in this video.

Well Mohamed I agree to a certain extent but doesn't this echo just a little the Mac vs Microsoft debate?  People who buy Apple products talk about quality, and they could be right to a certain extent, but really it's all just preference and brand management.

I like to think of corporations like people.  Apple is the cool guy running for class president, lots of flash (hah!) and a message of reliability.  Android is the science nerd with a modded box and a Wang Computers shirt.  He's got some cool stuff working for him but he is still a unknown.

Hi All !

You're very right Richard. I do share your point of vue.
I may add that when I think to the "picture", I see the science nerd is running after the cool guy ;-)

Anyway, it's a funny video, and thank's to Blaise to bring it to us !
I have to say that I use computers for 30 years. After Ti59 and PC-1500, my first desktop was an Apple II, then PC's all the way until few years ago…
I was sick about windows and the problems to manage drivers, stability and so.
I decided to go "dark side" and bought a mac. Few weeks later the iPhone v1.
And now in some way, I have to admit I turned to brawn teddy bear behavior, but I also can say that I USE the devices and do not spend time "tuning" it anymore…
My son and wife may feel Apple is good for them ;-)

It's funny that this thread should pop back up on my radar because I finally rooted my Android.  I don't think there is anything my device cannot do better or equal to an iPhone now.  It was the best decision I ever made and it was surprisingly easy to do.  However, I had to jump through hoops to get it that way.

I don't mind because I'm somewhat technically inclined, but to the average consumer, the iPhone package is an attractive deal considering no work is required to get the device to perform at its peak.

I may not like Macs, but I think it's a little bit of the folly of youth.  Over complicating things for the sake of accomplishment or something like that.  Many of my elders have since switched to Mac because of the simplicity factor.  I see it as limiting, but they seem to see at as a tool set.

Guess it's all in the outlook.
