Web Easy application has stopped working

Recently upgraded to web easy professional 9. Uninstalled v. 8. Downloaded v. 9. When I try to open the application I get message "web easy application has stopped working". I was able to open the program in safe mode with networking just fine. Tried selective startup to narrow down the problem with no success. Any ideas what might be causing the problem...suggestions.

What antivirus program do you currently have installed?
Also, just as a test, can you please try creating a new user account on Windows (so that all settings are back to default) and try launching the program with that new user.

I added a new user account and tired launching the webeasy 9 program as the new user and received the same message

Have you encountered any Unknown or suspicion connection warning prompts and selected the option to block it around the time of installing/launching WebEasy?
Can you check your Blocked List and see if there are any items blocked that reference WebEasy or Avanquest.
