Page length and scroll bar

I am wondering if WebEasy8 is locked into the screen sizes offered under "Blank" document.  I would like to have a page that will need scroll capability instead of having to add several pages to put my document on.

Is there a scroll page capability?

Yes, it is built in.  When you enlarge the page size length, and it goes down beyond the viewer capabilities, the scroll bar will automatically be triggered.

You can make a page 5000 pixels long (tall) and in all the times I've done that, I have not had to do anything about the scroll bar.  It is automatic.

Thanks Eileen, I finally figured that out but it was driving me nuts.  I have to publish the website to actually see the results, preview gets pages from othe documents and I could not see my work.

5000 pixels, that's about 4 pages isn't it?

Thanks

Yeah, about five screens.  It makes a pretty tall page but you'd be surprised how fast you can fill that up.

Have you ever seen those long one page ads?  Where you seem to scroll down forever?  I am sure some of those are taller than 5000 Pix.

Also there is a check box in the advanced portion of the build area. I never turn it off, I leave it on always, then I don't have to worry about scrolling.

It's on the bottom right of the build screen.

John,

When previewing your website, select the option to preview all pages, and all of your links will work.

When you do a preview, it creates the html file in a temporary folder on your system. If you preview just the current page, it will only make the temporary html file for that one page. Thus, if you click on a link to go to another page, it will look in that same folder for the html file it is looking for, not find one, and use the next best result.

Previewing current page is just if you want to see how that specific page looks. If you wish to test out links and view your entire web site, you must preview all site pages.

Click on build >> preview with >> all site pages.
