OBJECT:Object:credits

Hello Arthur,

I was playing around with (Object:credits) and decided to use it.... There has to be a better way then the way I formatted my text in the 2 columns.  WWW.GDVALET.com/contact_us.  Man this was pure torture.  I found no way to format the text, one column from the other.

Meaning, all spacing after the text in the first column was removed and the second column was put next to it.  With 15 different lines this made it honorable to try and read each line, as there was no formatting from the first (1st) column.

Improvement:

Have the first column fixed to the longest data entered into column(1) + 2 spaces.  That way the second column will print out more legible.  Formatted.

ex:  1) Owner           :XXXXX

       2) Producer       :xxxxxxxxx

       3) Director        :xxxxxx

       4) help             :xxxx

The proportional spacing will also have to be compensated for.  I had to (add/subtract/add/subtract) over and over again with (dots) and a piece of paper on my screen for alignment.  There has to be a better way.

It can be done.

Thanks

Howard

Howard,

You are free to design your website however you would like. I am not a web designers. I am technical support for the software itself. Although I do try to answer all questions, I am not trained within the usage of the software or designing websites. I am here to assist with crashing, error messages, installation issues, unable to uninstall, and other technical issues. Designing the website and learning how to use the software is left upon the users and the help file/manual.
You can try using spaces to create the formatting, or dots, the choice is yours as to how you would like for it to appear.

Hello Arthur,

I'm not talking about the way I layout my web, I'm talking about the way the object file itself works.  As far as I know there is no way to modify the Credits object file itself (at least not by me), but just to use it as is.

I'm just talking about having more control over the lay out of the object file's lay out with built in commands within the object file itself.

Something for the developers to add to the object file.

Thanks

Howard
