How to widen background photo?

I have chosen a gradient background for my home page and it widens to whatever screen I am viewing the site on. I also want to include a sky jpg at the top of the background, but it only displays at the width I have chosen for my background, in this case 954 pixels.

How can I get my sky jpg widen to the same width as the gradient I have chosen?

Hello Shan,

Go to Build >> Website(html).
Change it from Centered Page to Centered View.

Thanks for the reply Arthur. I already have it on Centered View. I am using the background from the Sky_View template, although I have made it 994 wide rather than the 1124 or whatever the original was. I just changed the background I already had to the radiant of that template, then copied the top sky jpg and placed it on my page.

Shan,

So you are using a gradient as the background image, then inserting the image simply as a decoration on the page? The image at that point will not adjust based on the viewers screen size.

What you would probably want to do is take the image and edit it in a photo editing program and place it over a gradient. Then, use that image (that has the gradient effect) as the background image.

I have made a new background and saved both as a jpg and a gif. Where do I save it so I can use it as a background image. Or how do I import it into my website as a background rather than just a decoration on the page? When I try to save to the images, photos section it won't let me save.

Hello Shan,

When selecting the background, select the Texture tab.
There you can browse and select your image as the background image.
