How to Detect Browser in Web Easy Pro

Hello,

I am using Web Easy Pro 9, but I have been using Web Easy Pro since 8.  I would like to figure out how to have my site detect what browser the site viewer is using and then switch to another folder if they are using Internet Explorer, but view the current site if using Chrome or Firefox?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

WebEasy does not have any features that will do this. You will have to use your own custom coding to do such things. You can then use the custom script assistant to insert that custom coding onto the page.

I Kind of figured that.  Are there any instructions on how to use the Script assistant?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

To insert custom coding into the <head> section of the source code, you would need to insert the coding into the HEAD ELEMENTS in the File Inspector.

Press CTRL + K to open the File Inspector.
On the drop down menu on the Inspector, please select Current Page.
Then, under the Properties tab, locate the attribute Head Element and double click the value field next to it.

To insert custom coding into the <body> of the source code, click on Insert and Modify.
Click on the drop down Object button and select HTML Code Fragment.
