Are you getting that message when you attempt to open that specific file? Are you able to simply open the program and create a new file/project?

So when you create a new project, you encounter that same serial number, correct?

Please visit our support page and submit a trouble ticket. In the trouble ticket, explain all this and include your serial number. This way, we can check the status of the serial number to ensure that it is still in good standing.

I am not able to create a new project or get into an old one. After opening Web Easy Professional 8.0, an "Activating Product" dialogue box pops up. It says:

Web Easy Professional 8.0

It appears that the serial number...................you selected when installing Web Easy Professional was already used. Therefore, this software can not run with this serial number. For more information, please click here.

When I click on the "Avanquest" link, I am sent to this URL: http://www.avanquest.com/

I have successfully loaded the Web Easy Professional 8.0 program onto my computer at work, but I am not able to actually use it. I want to be able to update the website I have created from work.

Hello Caroline,

We have reset your serial number, so it should now work properly. However, I strongly suggest that you please edit your post and remove the serial number so that other users do not use it. If other users use your serial number to install the program, it will cause the serial number to become invalid once again.

It is never a good idea to post serial numbers on a public medium where anyone can view it and use it.

I'm having the exact same issue. Online chat cannot do anything for me (lvl 1 service rep) and I keep getting transferred to interesting places on the phone.

The problem for me was resolved after my serial number was reset. Soft City will need to do that for you. Arthur Karanfilian has been a great support with the few issues I have had with the software. I have been able to get his help through this soft city medium. Sorry that I'm no more help than that.

I wonder why this would happen? We use it on a number of different computers so that different people can do small edits to the site. If this is some sort of DRM, count me unimpressed.

This program comes with a one user license. This means it can only be installed on one system at a time. This is something that you have agreed to during the installation, as it is part of the End User License Agreement.

If you wish to install the program on multiple computers, you must purchase multiple licenses.

i am having this problem of not being able to install the software on my new laptop. i am getting the error message that the serial number has already been used, which it has been on my other computers.

Please visit our support page and submit an e-mail trouble ticket. Include your serial number in that e-mail. Please do NOT post your serial number here, as this is a public medium and any user would then be able to use your serial number.
