My Web site looks great until I publish it. I save the site and it looks fine. When I build it the program adds black to some areas, I don't know how or why. What's happening?
I'm using Web Easy Professional 9, which has turned out to be not so easy!
Furthermore, the program won't always connect to my host, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I called the provider and they are not experiencing any problems and I can use the Internet and log into my hosting account easily. I tried usdin the FTP, which will connect, but, the site only shows a list of files and I'm not savvy enough to know how to fix it.
I've had a web site for 15 years, the first one done in Word Perfect! Looks like those days are over, and I will no longer have a site unless Web Easy gets truly easy.

Click the F8 button to do a preview.
As for the connecting issue, if it connects some times, and not others, that would be a connection problem. If everything is fine on the hosting server end, then I would suggest contacting your hosting provider. One thing you may want to try is to check the Use Passive Transfer option. In the Connection Profile, click on the Firewall tab and check the Use Passive Transfer option.

I am using passive transfer. I can connect using the FTP which is the same provider and settings so I'm confused why the publish won't connect. I can log into my site without any problem. Since the site looked so bas I removed everything.

Can you please visit our support page and submit an e-mail trouble ticket. I will then send you instructions to guide you through sending me an archive backup. I will then try to publish your project onto a server here to see if I encounter the same issue.
