Analytics

I was reading the various comments and ran across one that started interesting me after I had left it.  I can't find it now.  Anyway, someone had asked about adding "cookies" to WebEasy for "analytic" purposes.

I don't know if the new preferred host offers analytics or not but iEasysite does on their control pannel you get when you sign-up.  As I remember it was pretty indepth and usable and it comes with the space.

Hello John,

WebEasy Site hosting offers Webalizer, Modlogan, and AWStats for our customers to review their web statistics.

This can be found in the control panel under the Domain Settings >> Sections area.

Hey Arthur,

I was looking at that this morning, early this morning.  I should have known that the preferred host offered this.

Thank you for all the help yesterday.

On a side note, Support is the most important factor to consider when looking into hosting.  If Arthur is any indication of the support at the WebEasy host, it is one of the best out there.  I have used several different places and found all levels of help and no-help.

I DEFINITELY agree!  Regardless how much experience someone has or how well-written the user's manual is, questions do come up.  It is extremely valuable to have someone like Art respond to questions about this program.  Each time I think I have run into something beyond the capabilities of this very inexpensive program, Art (thankfully) proves me wrong!

I hope Art gets a VERY nice Christmas bonus!

Old man of 57 years.  Retired on disability.  Happy and alive.  I play around on the computer hoping one day to wake up and actually know something about it.  I love my coffee and the coffee shop I frequent.  My hair is long, past my shoulders and I have a thick full beard.  I look like a street person or a contract hitman.  When I get around to uploading a picture then you can decide.  I am a writter but not yet published.  I hope to finish my first book in six months.  You can inquire as to how to buy my book, if you wish.  Oh, most people don't like non-fiction where animals take on human characteristics and speech.  That, in-a-nutshell is me!
