Link between Softcity Café and Softcity Marketplace

Apart from the Softdollar conversion, it's not clear from the Café user point of view that Softcity Café and Softcity Market Place are just 2 sides of the same coin...

It could be good to improve this considering that it would be great to have Marketplace developers to interact naturally on the café with users and vice-versa...

I don't have a precise idea of how this could be achieved without turning the Café community into a Marketplace showcase (something not desirable!), that's why I am starting a discussion on this matter...

Bruno, we already have some plan for that matter. All ideas are good to hear, though.

I totally agree, to get a stronger (stronger than money :) ) link between Softcity Market Place and Softcity Café I would suggest to link them thru the product/software item.

i.e.: when an article was written about a software that exist on the market place it would be good to have a kind of "more info" link that lead us to market place

Same when a product is available on market place and we do have some articles or discussion on the Café

Great idea, would create a natural link at every level, giving the Café users a way to get additionnal info about what's discussed...

I would like to suggest an other "idea" :)

From a business point of view

When a software is discussed it would be great to also have a "get it for $x" (real price - softdollars rebate) tooltip on Software field mouse over

Softcitizens are more likely to click it and buy it when they see how good is the deal
