I thought I'd open an idea box for us to put our wishes or comments on Softcity.
Of course, these ideas should be clear, circumscribed and constructive. And they are only suggestions, not requests.
My first request would be that the login box shows on the landing page.

how about rating an article or conversation based on how many responses it gets? some people know how to write a piece that gets every one responding and others get the one off...good idea!

@Brian: When you sort the lists by popularity, the number of responses is counted in the score an article gets. The idea is to allow people to Vote when they mean "Yes, I like it, It's true, I agree, etc" and to answer a full response otherwise. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

It might be wise to set this up with a Button like that of Conversation, Article, and Q%A.
I am afraid if kept in conversation it will be lost or some may not know it is available. You might even call it "Suggestion Box" but Idea box sounds good too.

Wow! I thought this conversation would be around a lot longer. I still think an "Idea Box" or "Suggestion Box" is a great idea.
I would also like to see something in the order of a "WebSite Critique" area. In reality, a lot of us here build websites and it would be nice to hear honest oppinions about our creations. This is also another way to learn new things and reach a larger crowd.
