Attaching a "Word" document to Conversations, Articles, and Q&As

Here I am with more questions!  I am so illeterate when it comes to computers!

I am working on an HTML tutorial to surpass all tutorials ever created. LOL

I would like to start a conversation to get input(advice or comments) on it's structure and corectness.  It is a work in progress and may never be complete but it has purpose to me.  I find I retain more information when I explain things in my own words.

I am using Text Boxes in my document and they are vital in interperting what I am saying.  My problem is, the Text Boxes do not work when "Copy and Paste" is used to input into the Conversation dialog.  The document is not on a website or the Internet so Linking is not an option.  I do not find an "Attachment" button so that option is obviously not an option.

Ok!  Now the question.

How do I put my Word Document on this site and allow my Text Boxes to show up?

I have plenty of time, I am only working on the first chapter.

Hi John,

This is interesting. I thank you for the idea and also the fact that you are working on an extensive tutorial. I will be happy to review/comment/suggest!

You are the first SoftCitizen to suggest attaching documents. I'll add this request to our list and try to design a good solution for you. In the mean time, maybe you can use screenshots throughout the conversation to present your text boxes?

Thanks Marc,

I had not thought about "Screen Shots."  So, How do I do that?  I will admit, I have never done screen shots and I have absolutly no idea how to even start.  I have heard of them and even seen them in use but I am ignorant on the procedure.

This may be a good article to write about, I am sure there are plenty of folks out there in the same boat with me.  Ok, they are probably in a bigger boat and it probably floats a lot better with fewer holes besides, my boat is a "Dinggy" and linited to number of occupants.

Seriously, I think this shouldmake a good article.
