KVPNC on Ubuntu?

Has anyone been able to use Ubuntu 10.04 to connect to a windows remote machine using Kvpnc (Cisco proprietary protocal)?

I've almost got it, but my router is having issues and so every time I connect I lose my wifi access.

Is a firmware upgrade necessary if I'm able to connect with Cisco VPN client on an XP box?

I don't know...

Some routers have patches, because, in fact, they are running small OS. If there is a bug in you firmware version, maybe there is a "patch" (un upgrade).

You should take a look on Cisco support site, and take the latest stable firmware.

Maybe it's not a Firmware issue at all, but it's somewhere to go until you get a better piece of advice
