I am having the same problem! I can not open .UPX Files and the new text effects on version 4 are HORRIBLE and are not as good as the text effects with VERSION 3.

Phot Explosion Deluxe Version 3 Text Effects, Shadow Effects, and Create Effects are far better than version 4.

Please Nova Development--make version 4 to have the same metal and cool text effects as version 3 and please let us open .TPX and .UPX files with version 4!!!

Photo Explosion 4 went through several major changes to the user interface.  Due to these changes, we were unable to support the .TPX and .UPX file formats.  However, many of the standard image formats such as .JPG, .WMF, .FPX, .PCT, .PSD, .PNG, .TIF, .TGA and .GIF are still supported.

Robby, it does NOT matter anymore about what extensions this program has because the NATIVE FILE EXTENSIONS were UPX and TPX. Since you no longer support these---means that EVERY SINGLE FILE that we create with this program will NO LONGER be able to be edited by the new version 4 which really SUCKS!
