Hallmark crashes

I am still have more problems with Hallmark and also found that another person is having the same problems-This is my exact problem also- ( I added in my information instead of theirs).

"I have Windows Vista and am having trouble with Hallmark Card Studio 2011 and 20009, both Deluxe. Every once in a while(very seldom) I can complete a project start to finish without the program stopping to respond.

More often, I will get anywhere  from half-way thru up until time to print when the program stops responding. Sometimes just trying to save make the program not respond. It is very frustrating when I save every few minutes or so, I find that at least half of the card project has disappeared and sometimes the whole project is just gone.

When the program stops responding it does not come back even after 15 minutes. Also, Windows never finds the problem and the program shuts down. Sometimes the beginning of the project has been saved so I can at least re-open it...but when I then try to work on it again, the program just stops responding again."

Plus I am still experiencing disappearing text, whether it is from a png file or from the text in the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, purchased a newer program-2011 deluxe, and still am having problems.

I did receive this error in detail-

Janie,

The "System.IO.FileNotFoundException" part of the error message seems to indicate that there is a missing file on your system or it is not in the location where it is supposed to be. Unfortunately, the message does not tell you which file is the program is looking for.

Now, this file is not necessarily a file that is part of the Hallmark program. It could be a file that is part of Windows or one of its add-on components. Without knowing which file the program cannot find, it is hard to tell what can be done to correct the issue.

I would suggest that you reinstall the Hallmark program. If it is a problem with a missing file in Hallmark, reinstalling it should copy all the necessary files back to your computer. If you continue to experience the problem after reinstalling Hallmark, then it is most likely that the missing file is either a Windows file or one of its add-on components file.
