Hallmark Card Studio 2011, can not send by email

I have tried to send my cards via email as instructed in the User Manual, but I keep getting the messagen  " Hallmark Card Studio 2011 has stopped working, a problem has caused program to stop.  What can I do to correct this?  I am following the directions right from the book.

We apologize for any difficulties you may be experiencing with our software.  The error message you are getting sounds like a problem with it trying to generate the video portion of the card.  Am I correct in assuming that you do not get a new email window with the .AVI file attached?

The problem you are experiencing may be related to another program conflicting while it is trying to generate the video.  Please try the following:

1) Close all program
2) Click on the Start button
3) Type "msconfig" without the quotes in the Search box
4) Double-click the MSCONFIG item that appears on the search list
5) On the General tab of the System Configuration window, select the Diagnostic Startup item
6) Click on the OK button
7) At the prompt, select the Restart Now option
8) After the computer restarts, try using the email feature to see if the problem still exists

You can re-enable your startup items by performing the following steps:

1) Repeat steps 1-4 from above
2) On the General tab of the System Configuration window, select the Normal Startup option
3) Click the OK button
4) At the prompt, select the Restart Now option

After the computer restarts, your startup items will have been re-enabled.
