Error when installing Hallmark card studio 2012 deluxe

I'm recieving this error, I just purchased this software today from Staples,

when installing the softeware its installs to Exclusive Hallmark Fonts, then it sits there for a while, then I get this error, error 130.5 error reading from file C:\program file (x86)\greeting home\Hallmark card Studio 2012 Deluxe\graphice\_kids stuff.aex. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it, will my issue is if this is a new install that file will not exsit so how do i get this software to install.

Hello Sean,

A 1305 error indicates that there is a problem reading from the disc.  What we normally suggest you try is to clean the disc.  When doing so, you will want to use water and a lint free cloth.  We do not recommend using any cleansing detergent, as they may damage the surface of the disc.  If you continue to receive the error after cleaning the disc, then you will need a replacement disc.  In that case, please submit a trouble ticket to Technical Support.  They should be able to order a replacement disc for you.

Software installed properly. Hallmark page comes up with smaller box that says Loading..... That is as far as it will go. I waited 30 minutes or so. Still didn't load. I restarted computer. Still wouldn't load. I followed directions to disable startup programs. Still wouldn't load. I'm now frustrated and at l loss. Can you help figure out why the program won't load? If not, this software is of no use to me.

I am not certain I understand the issue. For my clarification, are you saying that this box appears when you first start the program? Or is it appearing when you are trying to access something within the program? If so, please provide examples of what you are accessing when that "Loading" message appears.

The Hallmark menu page loads (at top file, edit, etc.) The selections for birthday, holiday, etc. are there also as well as menus at bottom for saved project etc. A small box appears in the center that says Loading........... It never stops loading. It won't let me choose anything in the menus. It's like it's trying to load the content, but just can't complete it. It won't let me access anything.

Thank you for those additional details. It sounds like you are experiencing a problem that a few other people have come across. Please try the following:

1) Go to the Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Hallmark Card Studio 2012
2) Then, uninstall all items that start with "Microsoft SQL Server" from the Add/Remove Programs
3) Restart the computer
4) Reinstall Hallmark Card Studio 2012
5) Restart the computer
6) Test Hallmark Card Studio 2012 once more
