envelope printing for Hallmark card studio 2012

The envelopes for the card studio program do not print properly.  The address is to the far left side of the envelope.  The enveloope advances to far into the printer before it starts to print.  My old Hallmark program prints fine so the problem is not with my printer but the set up by the Card studio 2012 system.  Any updates to correct this problem as I am sure I am not the only one with the problem?

Nancy,

As far as I can remember, tou are the first person reporting this issue with Hallmark Card Studio 2012. As of this time, there are no known issues with the program printing envelopes. By "known", I mean an issue that has been reported to the developers and can be duplicated in a test environment.

Which prior version(s) of Hallmark Card Studio have you used previously? Also, was the prior version(s) run on this same computer?

I have the same problem. It almost seems to hang up on the envelope, but other than that just exactly as commented in the above post.

Karen,

What precisely do you mean by "hang up on the envelope"? Also, which version of Hallmark Card Studio are you running? Have you had any previous version installed on the same computer? If so, which versions were installed? Also, were you able to print envelopes successfully in the older version(s) of Hallmark Card Studio?

probably a bad choice of words... It does not shoot out! LOL

I am using 2012 version, yes I do have 2011 installed but this should not have any effect on running 2012 Hallmark. The 2011 version has the same issue, I just never bothered to print envelopes before.

If you print using a full size sheet of paper, the entire 'envelope setup prints. however if you think about it, the full sheet is LONGER than the envelope you are using...5 3/4"x8 3/4"

The solution I have come up with works perfectly. Just scooch lettering farther to the right and whola, you have a great envelope.

I just kept a 'master' version with a few noted in the address field.

I have read several comments that this is an issue, so having a simple workaround works for me.

I absolutely love this program. Great graphics, includes nice fonts, etc.

I am proficient in PhotoShop etc so my skills are up to par, now that even sound more humorous than my 'shoot out' comment, but hopefully you see what I mean.

again I love this program, I tried every combination to get this corrected and ended up with what I thought was near perfect. Life is too short to stress over it. Happy printing!!

I still can print envelopes from the Hallmark Card program of 2009 which I have to go back to for envelopes.  As for the 2012 versions, it will nor print envelopes without moving the address to the far left side of the envelope.  i have reinstalled the program several times and this does not solve the problem.  I thought maybe the software had a patch to install to solve this problem but have not seen anything like this.
