How are you going about this export/import process with your Address Book?

I open hallmark 2010. Go to address book. Select import. It finds hallmark 2006. I highlight it. select import or ok  it says import successful bu nothing is there.

I do not see why it is not importing the information, then.  What I would suggest that you try is to do a search on your computer for "planr32.*" without the quotes.  You would want to make sure that you are searching within all hard drives, all sub-folders and include all hidden/system files.  These files should be found under your User folder in Windows 7.  You do not want to work with the ones found in the program's installation folder, as those are just blanks used to generate new copies in the User folder.

The "planr32" files are the files where the Address Book information is stored.  The file format has not changed over the years.  So, they are interchangeable between each version.  So, if you can locate the "planr32" files from your Hallmark 2006, you can copy them over to where the Hallmark 2010 files are stored.  Then, the information that is available in 2006 will be available in 2010.
