Premium Card Pack installation

My new Hallmark Card Studio 2012 Deluxe came with free additional software.  I cannot install the Maxine and Friends.  This is the error message"The premium Card Pack requires Hallmark Card Studio to be updated to version 13.0.1 or above.  Please update Hallmark Card Studio to the latest version before installing the premium card pack".  I have the latest version of Card Studio installed.  The other bonus software,  the fonts, HGTV Instant Makeover and Scrapbooks Plus installed without any difficulty.  Please advise.

Under help "About Hallmark Card Studio" it says 13.0.0.17

Hello J Cr,

There are updates available to your software.
Please click on Help >> Check for Updates to download and install the latest build of the software. You should then be able to install the bonus content.

Arthur,

Thanks - tried but get "Error 1324. The path Hallmark card studio 2012 contains an invalid character."

I installed the software on 16GB zip drive - do I need to delete and reinstall it?

Thanks,

J Cr

J,

I have seen that error appear when there is some unusual character in the user profile path on the computer. Do you know if you have any punctuation or symbols in your user name on the computer?

Robby,

No, and I am the only user.

I did read about that, my only thought was I somehow corrupted the install to the flash drive as I was using the computer to do other tasks at the same time I was installing the Hallmark software.

J,

If you have not already done so, you may want to simply try uninstalling/reinstalling the program while doing nothing else with the computer. If it is an issue with a corrupt install, that should correct it. I suspect that you may end up with the same error, though. In that case, the only thing I can suggest is possibly creating a new user profile and trying to install it using the new user profile.
