Estalingrad,

Which version of Windows are you running the program on?  Also, is it a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows?

Estalingrad,

When are you getting that error message?  Is that during installation or when you are trying to send something via .PDF file?

I think the problem is that you have another application on the computer that has a built-in PDF converter program.  I am not 100% certain, but I believe that is where I last saw that error code with InstaForm Invoices & Estimates Pro 2.0.  If I remember correctly, the only thing that can be done to resolve the error is to uninstall both programs and reinstall just InstaForm Invoices & Estimates Pro 2.0.

Estalingrad,

Acrobat Reader should not have anything to do with it.  The conflicting program would be a program that creates PDF files, not just reads them.  This would be something like InstaForm Invoices & Estimates Pro 2.0, where the primary purpose of the program is one thing and it has a feature that allows the creation of PDF files for emailing or exporting purposes.

What you may be able to do is go to your Control Panel - Printers.  You will look to see if anything in there indicates a PDF printer.  If you find one, it may show what program it is tied to.

Estalingrad,

I believe that is the one that is causing the problem.  Do you have a program called PDF Complete installed on your computer?  If so, can you temporarily uninstall the program and try InstaForm Invoices & Estimates 2.0 again?  If you do not have one that is called PDF Complete, it may be something that was installed in conjuction with another program.  In that case, you will need to do a bit of research and see if you can determine which program installed it.

Basically, I believe that PDF Complete needs to be removed from the computer.  I am not sure if it can be reinstalled after removing it.  If I remember correctly, the -8 occurs when it is first trying to set up the PDF drivers for the program.  So, there may be a chance that once it is set up, you can reinstall the source program for that PDF Complete and use both at the same time.  Then again, once it is set up on the system, you may run into a similar error with the source program for PDF Complete.  I am not sure.
