To Tao and Cassandra,

Wait for the tax table 2014 update, it will allow you to print the 2013 W2.

Same thing happened last year for my 2012 W2. I have to wait for the 2013 tax table update to come out before I can print them. Bad news is that you have to pay for the update, good news was that being a old customer you pay half.

Hope tax table 2014 will be released soon.

Anyone from Avanquest or Softcity enlighten us please

HELP..Chipangela1@aol.com...I cannot lose anymore sleep over this! Thanks\\I am a repeat customer, but there was not a 1/2 price discount offered for me. The tax tables were $29.95.  How do I get them for 1/2 price???? Still getting the error message,  Tax form for the selected year is not available.

The 2014 tax tables are out. I already downloaded..NOW WHAT ????

Hello Angela,

I see that the Tax table 2014 came out and I also downloaded it full price of $29.95. I guess they dont have anymore discounts for us. Last year they gave me a discount via email but not this year. Discount is good but I just want them to fix the issue so i can print the W2

It seems there are some issues as i cannot  print my employees W2 for 2013 just like you.  Hopefully they can solve the problem soon. By law we should have the W2 ready by the end of the month.

I will call the tech support tomorrow and tell them the problem still exist. I know they will fix the problem soon.

Largo CM1, Under my latest tax table, it says 2014 .01....wonder why yours says 2013.01?

Regardless, this issue should have nothing to do w/ being able to print W-2s !!!!!

Why does this program make it so hard? I called 1888-691-0871 customer support and you need a support code, which I think you have to buy? I am not buying a code for someone to help me. I have sent several emails, hopefully someone will respond in a few days! Jan. 31 is fastly approaching!!!

The only option I know is to get out the ole typewriter and type them while I have bookkeeper up on my laptop....Please tech support, dont tell me that is my only option...Please help

Email is chipangela1@aol.com......

Angela,

I do not know why the link that I received from SoftCity was for the 2013 tax tables.  I purchased what I believed to be 2014.  How did you get the 2014 tables?  Did you receive a link to download?  The link that I received was Tax_Table_Update_2013.1  I am hoping that Technical Support reads my comment and assists me in getting the correct link for the 2014 tax tables.

I just talked to customer service. I will get my refund and rebuy. Since installing the 2014 tax tables WAS not the reason I could not print my W-2's!!!

Hello All,

Just to let you know,,,,

Ive been using bookkeeper since 2008 and this problem of not printing W2's happens every January the following year. Avanquest usually release the update almost at the end of January.  After all the anxiety over the years I have decided to buy the Intuit  Enhanced Payroll, warning , you have to buy the Quick Books Pro to get the payroll software working. Both are on sale for 269 clams download at amazon.

I know we shopped around, and this is the cheapest payroll software out there (I am cheap lol).  Compared to Quickbooks $269.00 or Sage(peach tree) for $500.00   This is the easiest to use. I have used all 3 of them from my other job.

This is the last time I am using this software. The only thing that I don’t like about Bookkeeper is you cannot print the  STATE unemployment forms and of course the update tax table that will released at the end of January to print the W2

BTW, Nova Dev company sent me the Bookkeeper 2014 update for free. Just follow the directions from Andy Su,,, up top and it will work.

We can now all relax hahaha Good day all

again you can use the email address gamemailme@yahoo.com to email me the file or even a link to the file. I'm trying my hardest to fix this issue. I have email avantquest and they still haven't responded. Its been over a week. I even sent them a second and third email and still no response. I called and they said they would be release a patch. That was a week ago and still no patch. This happens every year I don't know why they can't see the problem and fix it permanently.

Thanks so much for the link. Using your instructions we were able to print our w-2s. I appreciate you taking the time to send me the file.

@Cassandra

When you are at the page where you print eh 1099's in the upper right is a button labeled "Options" try clicking that then on the page that opens at the bottom should be all your employees. Click the manual selection mode and click the top person. Scroll all the way down to the bottom then hold the "shift" key while you left click the last person in the list. That should highlight all the employees in blue. Click ok then try to print.

Here is the link to the file if anyone needs to update bookkeeper using the instructions in the link above
