Hello, Sometime in 2009 we purchased the software Bookkeeper 2009 version 3.0
When ever we attempt to launch this program a message appears saying that the program needs to update to version 8.0
When we click on the update icon we receive an error message. That message reads: error-1
What can be done to update my software so we can use this program again?

Let me try and be a little clearer. First of all my operating system is windows vista.
Reading the label on the Bookkeeper 2009 install disc I read SKU No.10001 version 8.000 I can intall the disc and load the program onto my computer just fine, however when I attempt to open the program I get a pop-up window that reads "bookkeeper needs to update from version 3.00 to version 8.00. When I click on okay to update I receive an error code -1 Then the program shuts itself down. Does this help you to better understand? Thanks for your help.
