can not open pic with program because i get this error message

When I try to open a picture I get this message. The instruction at " 0x7c910c8e" referenced memory at0x00000000 the memory could not be "read"

Photo Explosion SE will not open.

Photo explosion worked last week but as i was opening it a window popped up stating " Nova Development Photo Explosion has stopped working".
