Visualcron is more than just an advance job scheduler. Visualcron makes writing scripts in Windows easy. From someone who use primarily Linux, in Windows getting simple variables such as time or date in specific format can be a real pain. Visualcron has built-in variables that you can use for almost anything, file variables, date variables, system variables, ETC . You can even create your own.

Visualcron as a job scheduler, is way more advanced than Windows Task Sceduler. A job can run multiple task, each task can be trigger from the results of the previous one. There are plenty of predefine task, for example: archive, ping, FTP, kill, ETC.

I certainly recommend using Visualcron. This is not a free software, but it is worth your money.
