About the "new" Windows logo

The other day we talked about Windows 8 and how the new version of their OS will be a new beginning getting closer to a portable device and touch interface than never before. We weren't wrong about being a New Beginning.

This is the logo of their new version (is not a flag by the way):

This is the logo of Windows 1.0, over 27 years ago...

It makes you think if we are moving forward, or just completing a circle...
