Landing is the Hardest Part

Over the holiday break I needed to go bring or pick up lots of people from the airport. Paying for parking, waiting for flights to arrive, or worse, getting there and being told that the flight I was waiting for is being delayed due to bad weather. Now, before I even leave the house I check the Flight app. With this free iPhone/iPod Touch app you can search for any incoming or outgoing flight and check their arrival time, or more importantly whether they’re delayed or not. No more wasted travel time going back and forth to the airport playing the waiting game.

You have two ways to search for flights. If you know the airline and flight number, just input that information and you should get the related flight. If you don’t know any of that, but do know the departure and arrival locations, then you can easily narrow down the flight you’re looking for through the search results. Just type in the required criteria and away you go. Once you’ve found the flight you’re tracking, at a glance you can see if the flight is on schedule, enroute, landed, or delayed. Besides departure, and arrival time, you also get weather information, and which terminal the flight will land at. You also get a map of the flight path, and info on the type of airplane being used. This app is great for any would be chauffeur taxiing people to and from any airport, or if you want to keep track of a friend or family members flight.

Hi Marvin.

I do like to keep track of my son and brother when they travel by air.  It saves a lot of anxiety to keep up with what's what, when they do. I especially like that flight path thing; good to know info.

Great App - Thanks!
