How to make my articles read ?

Visibility !

If you want your articles to be read, you have to attract people.
So, in other words, do some marketing.

Images are the first good way to do that. Chose the right image (a square is preferable) and use it in the logo field.

Chose also a title with punch, and short enough.

Use some title and other formater tools. When you edit your article, it's called "Heading".
Don't overuse them !

You will find some help on the right column when you create an article. Each field has its own help. Very useful

Add images in your articles, one or two, and don't write too long articles.
If you have to, you should split in 2 or 3 different articles, and when done, make a link of each one on all, like a previous/next, or part 1, part 2...

Reedit your article after publish it to fix some format issues (a "!" goes at the next line alone...)

Miguel gives us some good examples

Thanks for those advices.

Is there some issue with the picture upload? Is it restricted to specific picture type (jpeg, png, bmp?)

Hey Patrick,

what do I need to do to get my article "featured". It definitely gets more exposure like this.

Best,
Alex

Hi, Patrick -- is there an easy way to preview a saved draft of an article?

Thanks,

NOW, I find this information!  Better late than never, I guess. lol

I'm chiming in a little late on this and it appears that some of the items in the text (article) editor have been fixed.  There are still a few things that could be better tho... (just had to throw that in... heh.)

Thanks :)
