Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 2012 - not accepting unlock code windows 7

A friend an I have been trying to install Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 2012 on her windows 7 computer from an internet down load. We received the unlock code in an email and copied and pasted it into the requested block when asked, but it will not accept the unlock code. The program will restart and ask for the unlock code again and again.

Chuck,

For something like this, I would suggest that you submit a ticket to the Technical Support department. It may be that there is something wrong with the serial number you are using. They should be able to check the serial number to verify there is nothing wrong with it.

Chuck,

I am having the exact same problem. I have had my serial number verified and the problem still persists. There were a few instances when I could get into the full program, but than I had problems with Shapes. Last night I uninstalled the program and after a full reboot I reinstalled the program... Now I can only get the trial version. It will ask if I want to restart, and it takes me right back to the unlock code page again. I am in Windows 7 also. Have you had any luck?

We changed a setting in msconfig, but since I don't have windows7 I'm not sure what options we changed. To get into msconfig you need to click on the start button and type in msconfig. Maybe you will be able to figure it out from there. If you call Hallmark they can walk you through the process. Good Luck!

Had this same problem, too,  The solution is to enter the serial number WITHOUT DASHES OR SPACES. Worked for me.
