At the first look, SnagIt looks like a completely useless software: everybody have a “print screen” tab on his keyboard…

But if you pass this first step and try SnagIt, you will discover a very addictive app and without it, you’re completely lost.

Couldn't agree more. I use this application every day and it saves me a huge amount of time. I don't have to save and browse for image files anymore, I hit the "print screen" button, crop ( and sometimes annotate), copy, and paste into my documents, emails, etc... Definitely one of the greatest software I use :)

This is simply my favorite tool installed on my PC... Just can't work without it anymore. It's just so easy to edit or annotate all your screen captures. I agree... a must have!

I use it everyday and I can't uninstall it. This software allows you to do all screen shots that you want: full screen or window with scrolling (web) or just select a region. From the same Editor there is Camtasia which allows to record onscreen activity and after you can edit your video and produce it in flash for the web or Avi, quickTime etc...
